Refund Policy

Refund Policy

At Tekmatik, we stand behind the quality of our work and strive to provide excellent customer service. However, due to the nature of IT installation and service-based work, our refund policy is as follows:

1. Service Fees

All service fees are considered final once services have been rendered. We do not offer refunds for completed work unless:

  • There was a verified error or failure on our part that prevents the system from functioning as promised

  • The issue is reported in writing within 7 days of service completion

If a valid issue is identified, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it at no additional charge. Refunds may be issued only if the issue cannot be resolved after rework.

2. Deposits

Deposits made to secure a service date are non-refundable unless:

  • You cancel or reschedule at least 2 business days before the scheduled start time. 

  • We cancel or are unable to perform the work due to our own fault

    - Late cancellations (less than 2 business days) may result in forfeiture of the deposit or an additional rescheduling fee at Tekmatik's discretion.

3. Product Refunds (if applicable)

If we supply hardware or equipment as part of a job:

  • Unused, unopened items may be returned within 14 days for a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee

  • Used or installed items are not eligible for return unless defective and covered under manufacturer warranty

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

4. No Guarantee of Compatibility

Refunds will not be issued due to:

  • Equipment incompatibility caused by undisclosed existing systems

  • Customer-provided equipment that malfunctions or fails during installation

  • Missed appointments or access issues not caused by us
